New blood test for lung cancer available at St.Vincent

More often than not, lung cancer goes undetected until its late stages, when successful treatment is difficult, if not impossible.  Even when a scan detects a lung nodule, determining whether or not its cancerous can be difficult. A new blood test, OncImmune, makes it easier. A few months ago, the Indianapolis Star interviewed Dr. Richard K. Freeman of St.Vincent Cancer Care. Freeman is one of only about 400 doctors in the country who offer the test.
