Objectives – At the completion of this activity participants should be able to:
- Review the current screening guidelines for the most common malignancies.
- Review the recommended follow up for the most common malignancies following treatment.
- Discuss the advantages of multidisciplinary care of cancer patients.
- Describe recent advances in multidisciplinary cancer care for common malignancies including chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery.
- Appropriately manage co-morbidities in the cancer patient.
- Implement current recommendations for genetic screening and counseling for common malignancies.
