May 5: Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital “Celebration of Caring.” The fifth annual gala is sure to be another great success. Peyton and Ashley Manning are honorary co-chairs for the night. Proceeds benefit the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital supportive care program, equipment, and other programs and services that benefit our pediatric patients.

 

August 24: Surviving and Thriving, sponsored by the St.Vincent Hospital Guild and St.Vincent Cancer Care. One-day symposium honors and celebrates cancer survivors and those who care for them. The day’s offerings include inspirational speakers, lunch, fellowship, door prizes and a silent auction, showing that cancer survivors not only survive – they thrive! October 6: Women of Hope, Women of Hope want to do something positive about cancer and how it impacts themselves, their friends, family and the community. They commit to a yearlong effort to raise at least $1,000 by October 2012 to be used for the cause. The Women of Hope culminates in an annual event called the Walk of Hope, a 15-mile walk and community fair based at Zionsville Park. October 12 (tentative): Key to the Cure, Saks Fifth Avenue, Keystone at the Crossing. Key to the Cure is a nationwide Saks Fifth Avenue fundraising initiative to raise funds for women’s cancer programs and research. Saks Fifth Avenue at Keystone at the Crossing has once again selected the St.Vincent Foundation to be the recipient of all fundraising efforts for the sixth straight year.
